I watched Will Work For Free this morning. My thoughts are not quite fearful. Not able to say they are exactly hopeful either.

On one hand, there will be a mass of people whom are displaced. This could be direly catastrophic. Everyone will muddle around with nothing to do.

Then, you have the other hand. This can be wondrous! People will be free to do what they want to do.

People can explore biology, perhaps study how to not encroach upon other species. They can study how to help maintain solar roads, or geothermal heat pump banks. When there is free energy it logically resonates there will be free goods.

And from the sounds in this video we are on the verge of free energy being unleashed into the world. Imagine all the solar roads in the United States providing all the energy for the world for 4,000 years in one year of use. With such a surplus of energy and the technology to use it being so common sense, how would it not be free?

I mean honestly, teach a man to fish and he feeds the village indefinitely. Give him a fish and he only feeds his family that night. And the technology knowledge hurdle needed is now to a point of teaching a person to fish.

So, even if the United States would not export free energy, free energy will still be free in the world. The technology can not be contained. Neither can the human spirit what has made it.

Suppose in some ways, this does provide me with a sense of hope.
